Hadamo

This is the first of a series of ten shorts that will form a documentary that will have ten different protagonists from various regions of the former Yugoslavia. What the filmmaker wants to show is that even if Yugoslavia as a country no longer exists, because it has been divided into many smaller countries, the historical and cultural identity has remained just one, as has the spirit of the people. Given that, why was the war so long and violent? Who wanted this war? And above all, who benefited? Here we see a series of small portraits which seen together give us a look at a land torn, even today, by hatred and violence, where the common people still struggle to survive, yet find in daily life their own pride and dignity.
