Hadamo

At more than 4.000 metres, in the snow and ice of the Wakhan Mountains in Afghanistan, live the Kirghisi nomads, a people who still live far from the changes and influence of the modern world. Their life in the yurts goes by slowly, in close contact with nature and with the rhythms of shepherds’ work. Hospitable to Western visitors, they gladly host the director who lives with them for months, and with her video camera, with discretion and simplicity, observes and recounts the lives of the women, children, and men, their caravans of camels, and the snowy expanses.
