Director Lars Ostenfeld accompanies three of the world's leading glaciologists on a scientific expedition into what remains of the Greenland ice sheet. Dorthe Dahl-Jensen, Jason Box and Alun Hubbard are working to collect data that can help us answer the key questions of our time: How fast does the ice melt? How fast does the sea level rise? How much time do we have left to face the effects of climate change that are disrupting the planet? Spectacular images document the risky descent of scientists into the impressive ice caves, where the roar of melting water is broken by the continuous roar of the ice that detaches from the walls and collapses. A scenario that, in not many years, could remain visible only in these images that document it.
