By itself, one nut makes no noise, but many nuts in a bag ring out. With this spirit, Fabrizio founded the Ringing Nuts Tribe in the isolation of the Marche hills, a community of which he and his son Siddhartha are the authentic heart. In an old farmhouse, devoid of electricity and all the comforts of modern life, man and child welcome guests who from time to time stop for a few days or entire seasons, to participate in the simple life in contact with nature that the two lead. However, Siddhartha is growing and preparing to take the fourth grade advancement exam, while discovering the company of his peers and increasingly fleeing that of his father. In a summer with a placid and luminous appearance, tensions and conflicts simmer, which the directors investigate from a distance and with respect. Amongst the hills and the woods there is a universal history, always the same yet always new, of those who confront life and those who, on the other hand, wait for the evening to fall.
