The 31st edition of the Lessinia Film Festival takes place at a historic moment marked by tensions and conflicts, and responds with a program of 101 events designed to stimulate reflection and foster dialogue across divides. The Festival has joined Emergency’s R1PUD1A campaign in defense of Article 11 of the Italian Constitution and in clear rejection of all forms of war.

The heart of the program is cinema: 86 films from 38 countries, 26 of which are Italian premieres, tackle pressing current issues—from the rights of peoples to migration, from climate challenges to the relationship between modernity and tradition, to questions about the future of the younger generations.

After thirty years, Bosco Chiesanuova and Lessinia remain the ultimate place for encounter and dialogue. In the words of Moni Ovadia, “When borders give way to one another, they generate life,” the Festival extends its invitation: to meet at the border, to cross over together.
